RESCUING CHILDREN

WITH OUR PARTNERS, WE'VE RESCUED

OVER 22,000

CHILDREN FROM SLAVERY

We’ve rescued over 22,000 children from slavery and other desperate conditions by partnering with a network of more than 7,000 pastors through a registered charity in India.

These pastors do all of the physical work there, from rescuing children to making meals.

The process of rescuing children usually starts with a phone call. Once our partner receives the location of enslaved children, a team of pastors go into quarries, brothels, brick factories, and even human sacrifice situations to bring slave children to safety.

Since slavery is technically illegal in India, our partners are sometimes able to convince owners to free their slaves. In other situations, the Holy Spirit convicts the heart of an owner to release his slaves.

When children come out of slavery, they’re terrified, hungry, and abused. They don’t find freedom in just one day. It takes time, and our partners are in it for the long-haul.
