50 Days Later, Over $320,000 Closer

Nearly two months ago, we reached out about our need to raise $500K in 50 days.  As many of you may know, we are working to move the first wave of Set Free children into the campus where they will be able to live together in community.  However, we recently hit a roadblock in the form of a state-mandated sewage treatment plant (STP) for the facility.  We are unable to acquire our occupancy permit without the STP, meaning we cannot move the children into their home.

With the help of your generous financial contributions, construction has been resumed on the STP, moving us closer to our goal of obtaining our occupancy permit. We are so thankful for your willingness to give so that the children’s needs can be met.  With the construction of the STP, over one thousand children can begin moving into our new campus in the near future, this will reduce our costs, as well as provide a space for the children to learn, play, and be nurtured.

As we have reached our 50 day mark, we are overjoyed to announce we have raised more than $320,000 over the course of the last 50 days!

What INCREDIBLE progress!  We are in awe of God’s provision and faithfulness throughout this journey, and we thank you for your generosity and commitment to bettering the lives of the Set Free children in India. You have been the hands and feet of Jesus, and we hope you know just how impactful your gifts are.

We’re not done yet…

While there are still roadblocks ahead, the funds raised in the past 50 days have been a huge step. But, until we complete the STP, the children cannot move into the campus. We’ve seen God show up in such big ways this past year, and we know that He has every desire to do it again. So, please join us in spreading the word and praying for the final funding for the STP, and our occupancy permit.
